Format text and add links
Select some words to make them bold, code or coloured, or to link them to a web page.
Select text in any block and a small toolbar appears above it. Its buttons apply to exactly what you selected.
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Bold, Italic, Strikethrough | The usual. Press the button again to remove it. |
| Code | Marks the words as inline code, in a monospaced font. |
| Colour | Opens a palette with a text colour and a highlight. No text colour and No highlight take them off again. |
| Link | Opens a field: paste or type an address and press Enter. Select linked text and the same field lets you change the address, or Remove link takes the link off. |
A link needs a real address. Something like example.com is completed to https://example.com, and an email address becomes a mailto: link; anything that is not a web or email address is refused with a message, and nothing changes.
Markdown works as you type too: **bold**, *italic*, ~~strikethrough~~ and `code` turn into formatting when you type the closing mark. To link to another of your pages rather than a web address, type @ instead.

Email support@digipages.io and describe what you were trying to do and what happened instead. A link to the page you were on helps.
