The iOS app
The keyboard bar, and what the app does that the website cannot.
The iOS app is the same editor, wrapped in native navigation. The page list, search and menus are built with iOS controls; the document itself is the one you already know.
The bar that sits on top of the keyboard is the app's answer to a toolbar you would otherwise have to scroll to. From left to right it inserts a block, opens the / menu, opens formatting, inserts an image, links a page, undoes, redoes, opens the block menu, and dismisses the keyboard.
The / and @ menus open above that bar rather than next to the caret, because the keyboard would otherwise cover them.
Pages you have opened are kept on the device, and an edit made with no signal is queued and sent when you are back online.
Subscriptions are managed on the website, not in the app.
