Create your first page

Make a page, give it a title, and start writing.

Everything in DigiPages is a page. A page holds your writing, and it can also hold other pages — so the same thing that is a note today can become a section with children later, without moving anything.

  1. Open the sidebar if it is not already showing.

On a narrow window it slides over the document; on a wide one it sits beside it. The toggle is at the top left.

  2. Press the new-page button at the top of the page list.

It sits next to the new-folder button, just under the word PAGES.

  3. Type a title at the top of the page.

The title is the large line above the divider. It is what the sidebar, search results and page links will call this page.

  4. Press Enter, or click below the title, and start writing.

There is no save button. Edits are saved as you type, and the indicator tells you when the last change was stored.

An empty paragraph shows the hint “Type '/' for commands”. That is the way into every kind of block — headings, code, tables, images and the rest.
